Time to Re-Learn
Yes, it’s time for me to relearn how to use my own website. There must be a tutorial somewhere for absent ‘writers (and I use that title loosely) to get back to writing. It’s just for my own enjoyment… like a daily commentary on eclectic topics… or whatever. sigh. Beginning the relearning curve now.
My instinct tells me I should pick a time to write and block it out so other things won’t crowd it out and it therefore never happens. Bottom line, I need to get my self organized. I’ve somewhat let things just ‘happen’ around here. No cleaning schedule. No menu made for the week. No set day for laundry. No grocery list…good grief!!! What DO I ACTUALLY DO??? Even now I cannot answer that. I’d like to watch TV and drink sweet iced tea. And sit on the deck and listen to the birds argue about territory and worms. I’d like to ‘decorate’ the back yard…but that would need some sort of maintenance which I am not equipped to do. Jerry does the mowing on his riding mower and even so it’s a sweaty dirty job. And then there are the bugs. My deck needs to be completely redone. I’m talking concrete so there is barely any maintenance. I need to buy a patio umbrella — 7′ turquoise. And chair cushions to match. And a cushion for the glider as well. Well…we’re looking at approximately $300. Today I’m going to Walmart to find my umbrella and cushions. There. A decision is made.
